
There are three levels of shopping; it can help you save time and money if you divide it this way.
- Go once a month and fill up your pantry with basic items: rice, different flours, sugar and other sweeteners, pasta, tomato sauce, pesto in a jar, nuts, cereals, spices, ketchup, mustard, frozen foods, etc.
- The, you go once a week and purchase lean protein (meat and fish or soy), produce, dairy products, and bread, which are best fresh and need refrigeration.
- Last, of course, you pick up what you run out of on a daily basis if you need to.
